REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE SETTLED THROUGH PHONE CALLS

Despite of non-appearance of the management due to distance, two employees were paid of their 13th month pay and cash bond totaled to Php 8,964.95 and received their certificate of employment in their request for assistance filed before the NCMB Bacolod Office through phone conference.

On August 2, Ms. Gilnalyn Cordero and Mr. Stephen Galvesolo, employees of Rodeo Drive for seven months, sought the assistance of NCMB Bacolod Office for the release of their cash bond and certificate of employment. SEADO Melinda M. Lee called up their Manila office and arranged the phone conference with Ms. Margie Belicano- HR Coordinator who agreed to send the money claims through courier for release at the NCMB Bacolod Office. SECURITY GUARDS RECEIVE MONEY CLAIMS THROUGH SENA

Twenty-four security guards received their salary differential and uniform allowances totaled to Php159,106.25 through Single Entry Approach (SENA).

On August 02, Mr. Dino Morales and 23 other security guards sought assistance before NCMB Bacolod Office for underpayment of wages covering the period March 16, 2017 to November 15, 2017.

SEADO Melinda M. Lee assisted them and called up their Manila office for validation of their complaints. Mr. Daniel Barangtay, HR Officer of Vulcan Security Agency said that he will bring the matter to the top management. Continue reading

Ninety representatives from different companies in Western Visayas joined the 13th Regional Labor-Management Cooperation (LMC) Convention in RJ Resorts, San Jose de Buenavista on May 17 and 18.

The National Conciliation and Mediation Board-Regional Branch 6 headed by Director Susana A. Quimpo in coordination with the LMC Associations in Negros Occidental, celebrated the Labor-Management Cooperation (LMC) Month and Women’s Month 2018 held at the Resorts Negrense, Punta Taytay, Bacolod City and conducted an Outreach Activity at the Sto. Niño Homes in Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod City on March 22, 2018.

It was attended by a total of 93 participants coming from different companies (organized and unorganized) in Negros Occidental represented by 47 management and 46 union/employees who are also members of the Association of Labor-Management Councils, Negros Occidental Chapter Inc. (ALMCNOC, Inc.) and the Association of Industrial Peace Advocates of Negros Occidental (AIPANO, Inc.). Continue reading
